The Natural. I love this movie. Tiger should rent it and morph his comeback after Roy Hobbs, the baseball phenom who disappears after being "wronged" by a woman. Hobbs goes completely invisible for many years and then one day, signs on with the New York Knights and helps them win a pennant and world series.Tiger needs to go away for a while and let the Tour go on without him. Stay low. No commercials. No Ryder Cup. No majors. Take a year off. Put your life and family back in the best possible shape you can make it. When the burning desire to win golf tournaments returns, so should you. Until then, say nothing. Do nothing. Go away, like Roy Hobbs and re-invent yourself.Here is a review of the movie.
An unknown middle-aged batter named Roy Hobbs with a mysterious past appears out of nowhere to take a losing 1930s baseball team to the top of the league in this magical sports fantasy. With the aid of a bat cut from a lightning struck tree, Hobbs lives the fame he should have had earlier when, as a rising pitcher, he is inexplicably shot by a young woman.
